If you qualify financially, we can provide you with legal services in a rage of areas including public interest (through The Public Interest Law Centre), family law, immigration and refugee services, residential tenancies, child protection, mental health, government benefits and criminal law. Our staff and private bar lawyers regularily travel to over 40 communities surrounding major cities in Manitoba.
We offer legal and social services for economically and socially-disadvantaged community members, in partnership with students and volunteers. If you're struggling to find assistance with your income, you can visit our drop-in clinic for legal information, support and referrals to services that match your income.
We provide services primarily to Indigenous offenders and ex-offenders to help them reintegrate into the community. Our programming begins while a person is still incarcerated and involves employment training, community support and advocacy.
If you were injured at work and submitted a claim to the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba, we can support you in understanding the process, advising your next steps, and helping you prepare for your hearing. We can also communicate with and appear before the WCB on your behalf.
