As the highest court in the province of Manitoba, we hear appeals from the Manitoba Provincial Court and the the Court of King's Bench of Manitoba in cases regarding civil disputes, family law and criminal law.
We provide advocacy, support and resources for women in the provincial and federal justice system, with an emphasis on Indigenous women. Our programs include court support, bail verification and supervision, anger management, transitional housing and more.
We provide information about the court process to primarily to Indigenous peoples who come in contact with the law. We offer support explaining the court process, a person’s charges and in some cases, attend court for the person on trial. We have various offices across Manitoba, including in northern communities.
