For over 40 years Community Legal Education Association (CLEA) has been providing public legal education programs to help Manitobans understand the legal system and how to resolve their legal issues.  Our programs include a the Law Phone-In Program (the lawyers on staff provide legal information and summary advice), lawyer referral service, presentations, workshops, videos, webinars, plain language publications and a website.

If you are dealing with a Criminal Code offence that isn't likely to end in jail time or a welfare appeal, residential tenancies case or small claims case—we can support you. The legal costs are subsizided, usually costing less than $100 per person and the student volunteer who takes your case is supervised by several practicing lawyers.
